Getting Started Bookings Facility Coaching Policies

Getting Started

Open the Gotham Pickleball app and go to the "Reservation" tab. Select your appointment and tap the "Unlock Door" button. The unlock button appears 10 minutes before your reservation begins and stays active for the full duration of your booking.

No. Memberships are designed to give frequent players discounts on court time and events, but they are not required. Anyone can book a court or participate in programs without a membership.

No. We provide house paddles and balls free of charge. You're welcome to bring your own equipment if you prefer.

Weekdays: 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM. Weekends: 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM.

If you require ADA access to the facility, please contact us at support@gotham-pickleball.com and we'll provide the information you need to access the facility.

Bookings & Reservations

You can access the facility from 10 minutes before your booking until 5 minutes after it ends. Please be courteous to other players by clearing the court when your reservation is finished.

Yes. On the "Order Summary" page in the app, you'll see a drop-down menu to select your preferred court (if it hasn't already been reserved). The default setting is "auto-assign," which means the system will pick a court for you.

Yes, as long as the time slot is available after your current reservation. Simply open the app and follow the standard booking process. Note: you may need to move to a different court if yours is already booked for the next period.

Yes. Go to the "Reservations" tab in the app and tap "Cancel Reservation." Cancellations made within 10 minutes of booking or at least 24 hours before your appointment are free. Cancellations within 24 hours of your appointment will be charged in full.

Yes, up to 6 people can use the facility under a single reservation. We ask that you invite your guests through the app and that each guest creates their own account and signs the waiver. You can also use the app to split the bill automatically. Guests not actively playing should use the available seating areas.

Facility

We do not sell food or beverages. However, there is a hydration station in the back of the facility where you can refill your water bottle.

You may bring single-serve non-alcoholic drinks and small snacks (like energy bars). However, please don't eat or drink anything other than water on the courts. Eating and drinking should be limited to the seating areas in the front and back of the facility.

No, we do not currently have showers or locker rooms at this facility.

No. You may not use any court without an active reservation for that court. Jumping to an unreserved court will result in a fine.

Coaching

No. Only coaches on the Gotham coaching roster are permitted to give paid lessons at our facility. All Gotham coaches have been thoroughly vetted and are fully certified and insured. Bringing in an outside coach creates liability issues for everyone involved.

Policies & Rules

If you stay on the court more than 5 minutes past your reservation, our security team will contact you via the screen on the side of the court. If ignored, the system will automatically charge you for an additional hour. Please make sure to clear the court promptly.

No. Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside the facility and carry penalties of up to $500. Your account may also be suspended. Gotham Pickleball does not serve alcohol, and customers are not permitted to bring alcohol onto the premises.

Our security team enforces the following penalties. Amounts increase for repeat offenses or ignored warnings:

  • Significant overstaying — up to $250
  • Exceeding guest limits for extended periods — up to $400
  • Smoking or vaping — up to $500
  • Bringing or consuming alcohol — up to $500
  • Ignoring voice downs and reminders — up to $500
  • Breaking or mistreating equipment — unlimited fine + account suspension
  • Showing disrespect to other customers — account suspension
